In segment #1, "Jump Start," Sylvia Currie helps students change their bad eating behaviors, like eating late at night, not drinking enough water, and eating large portions. She also teaches students how to do self-hypnosis. In the second segment, "Lighten Up," Series developer, Kathy Moore teaches students to let go of the emotional causes for overeating - stress, anger, grief, boredom - and how the stress response causes them to hold on to unwanted pounds.
In segment #3,Personal trainer and Hypnotist, Sylvia Currie discusses the importance of exercise in burning fat and building muscle. Hypnosis then helps students find and stick with their own ideal exercise plan.
In segment #4, Kathy Moore discusses the reasons for cravings with emphasis on the roles that sugar addiction, carbohydrate sensitivity and Candida play on the difficulties of sticking to a weight loss program. In the last segment, students learn to use the power of visualization in achieving and maintaining ideal weight. Students will examine the role that 'negative body image' is having on deterring their weight loss efforts.
